8 Easy Holly Willoughby Outfits We Want to Copy ASAP

This Morning's Holly Willoughby might not be considered a directional fashion icon, particularly when you compare her outfits to those of Rihanna or Anna Dello Russo, but there's no denying her style prowess. Like most television personalities, she tends to favour cheery items with mass appeal over trend-led looks. However, ever since she wore a long-sleeved rainbow dress by London Fashion Week designer Ashish a few years ago, editors have been paying closer attention to what she wears in her daily outfit posts. Right now, we're all about Holly's spring-ready wardrobe.

We spoke to Willoughby's former stylist Angie Smith, who recently swapped Britain for the warmer climes of Australia, to find out her tips for making the most out of a high-street budget. "I think that certain brands excel in specific styles. For example, if I need a great cashmere jumper, I always go to John Lewis & Partners or M&S; for tailoring, LK Bennett and The Kooples; for coats and skirts, I go to Jigsaw; for dresses, Whistles; for skirts, H&M; and for shoes, Kurt Geiger. For everything else—and for one-off unexpected pieces—I regularly shop Massimo Dutti, Maje, Hobbs, Next, Warehouse, Russell & Bromley, and Office."

As for outfits that always work for Holly? "She has an amazing hourglass figure, so she suits fitted, tailored shapes," Smith shares. "All her looks have to work 360 because she never knows what she'll be doing that day." But Holly has to be careful about colours and prints, as Smith explains, "Stripes and checks can strobe on TV, so they're a big no, sadly. We both love colour, so I would always try to pack in as much as that as possible, as I think it really works for her."

While Holly regularly wears high-street pieces (she's just as much a lover of Zara as we are), she's also been branching out recently with different brands from the likes of Markus Lupfer, Ghost and Sandro. 8 Holly Willoughby Outfits We Want to Copy

Style Notes: Monochromatic dressing (wearing one colour top to toe) is a styling trick favoured by editors, influencers and, turns out, Holly Willoughby. We're partial to this cream look of hers, which is quick way to ensure you look chic.

Style Notes: One thing that's clear is that, just like us, Holly is partial to a great dress. With flowers blooming, our surroundings are become more colourful after months of grey, and just like Holly we plan to celebrate in an equally colourful dress.

Style Notes: Dresses are an integral part of Holly's workwear wardrobe, and this knitted style works for all seasons. Details like the asymmetric button fastening help to set it apart from the other styles on the market.

Style Notes: While you might not see Holly in jeans very often (at least, not when she's filming), denim isn't totally off-limits. In fact, she wears her collection of denim dresses regularly, striking a high/low outfit balance by pairing them with heels.

Style Notes: Along with denim, another heavy fabric Holly likes to ground her outfits with is leather, often by way of a pair of culottes or a midi skirt. Then, simply soften the look with a chiffon blouse.

Style Notes: For an easy spring look, follow Holly's league with a versatile co-ord. You instantly have a put-together look that looks incredibly chic, and can be divvied up into different outfit options.

Style Notes: When it comes to easy outfit pairings, it doesn't get much sleeker than a pair of black tailored trousers with an elevated top tucked in.

Style Notes: Like many of us, Holly can't resist the appeal of a pretty floral midi dress. Brands she relies on regular for hers include Ghost, Nobody's Child, and LoveShackFancy, the latter of which she's wearing here.

Style Notes: When she's not filming, it's likely that Holly Willoughby will be attending some glitzy industry events. For such occasions, she always gravitates towards classic dresses, such as this style from The Vampire's Wife.

Style Notes: Another dress brand we love is Ghost, which is always reliable for great dresses. Here's Holly wearing the prettiest green frock that's ideal for the festive season, no?

Style Notes: School uniform but make it fashion—Holly has jumped on the oversized-collar trend and paired it with a miniskirt and Mary Janes.

Style Notes: The wrap dress continues to be a fabulous silhouette for Holly.

Style Notes: The ruffles on this Kate Spade dress are what make this outfit so special.

Style Notes: Here, Holly wears the colour-blocking look with a skirt from John Lewis & Partners that defies its £69 price tag. The green flowing asymmetric midi skirt also comes in navy. Holly paired it with an electric-blue cashmere roll-neck by Pure Cashmere and a pair of white pointed court shoes from Kurt Geiger.

Style Notes: This Morning is rumoured to have a strict policy regarding hem lengths, so it's little wonder Holly made the most of mini lengths when in the Australian jungle. We love how she gave these faux-leather Gap shorts added polish with her tailored blazer.

Style Notes: The Holly effect was certainly felt when the presenter wore this La Redoute frilly blouse. Naturally, it sold out within hours.

Style Notes: Okay, so Rixo isn't strictly high-street, but thanks to its affordable price tag, the brand gained a new legion of followers when Holly chose to wear this tiger-print dress on-air.

Style Notes: Swapping the This Morning sofa for a few weeks Down Under, Holly's I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! outfits proved just as popular amongst her fans—particularly this AllSaints checked dress.

Style Notes: Working closely with M&S to create a fashion edit, Holly proved she knows a must-have when she sees it. This tiger-print dress, which is now on sale, was easily one of the most popular pieces.

Style Notes: White boots are one of the easiest ways you give your favourite outfits a fresh spin, as evidenced by Holly's Kurt Geiger pair.

Style Notes: Anthropologie has fast become one of Holly's go-to brands, and these checked trousers are one of her best finds yet. Paired with a classic cream jumper from Pure Collection, this look is easy to re-create and cost-effective, too.

Style Notes: Topshop swiftly sold out of this rust-hued polka-dot dress when she wore it on This Morning

Style Notes: We love the red-and-blue combination of this Henry Holland for Debenhams dress.

Style Notes: Holly's LK Bennett culottes are a bold trend piece, so she played down the rest of the look by pairing them with a camel J.Crew cashmere jumper and matching suede pumps.

Style Notes: Holly provides plenty of workwear inspo with her This Morning wardrobe, and we love how she paired her classic tailored culottes with a pussy-bow blouse with a fun, playful print by Markus Lupfer.
