14 Cool H&M Outfits Fashion Insiders Are Wearing
Earlier this month, H&M announced a brand-new influencer initiative named The League. While the brand regularly works with influencers as new H&M collaborations and collections drop, The League is different because instead of one-off projects, this is a yearlong ambassador program with 23 influencers who all have unique takes on fashion. It officially launched the first weekend of Coachella, and I joined H&M’s kickoff of The League in Palm Springs, where I had a chance to meet the insiders and observe their approaches to style and content creation firsthand.
What immediately struck me about the program was its attention to diversity. It was inspiring to see a talent pool with a range of backgrounds, home bases, and audience sizes. And with access to all of the latest products drops from H&M, I paid close attention to their outfits and the ways they were styling them. Whether wearing bucket hats, power suiting, or belt bags, they’re tapping into the buzziest trends of the moment, all worn according to their personal style mantras. Ahead, I’m breaking down some of their coolest H&M outfits and highlighting their top styling tips. Go on to shop their outfits and find out their fashion advice for the season ahead.
"Bodysuits or one-piece swimsuits are great for doubling as a top. They also look really great with high-waisted bottoms because they stay tucked in." — Brittany Xavier
"My styling tip for spring is stepping out of my comfort zone and going with bright colors that will complement my skin like yellow and red!” —TyLauren Gilmore
"My number one spring fashion styling tip would definitely be to simply add a hat to your outfit. Dressed up or down, hats can easily make any outfit look more put-together and complete your look. If your outfit seems to be missing something, try pairing it with a hat! Whether it's printed, colorful, or simple, they'll definitely do the trick and spice up any outfit. Hats make the greatest accessory!" — Erika Aguilera
"Animal prints and denim are my go-to during the festival season! I love how easily they make the simplest outfit so cool.” — Oriane Adjibi
"For spring, I'm leaning toward fewer florals and more '90s nostalgia. Flattering basics and structured jackets create amazing silhouettes. Don't forget a bucket hat!" — Jill Wallace
"My favorite festival trends are all '80s-inspired—from power suits to visors and fanny packs! I also think every festival look can be complete with some sporty sandals. I love the current trend of athleisure sandals that have a super-chunky sole!” — Casey Goode
"Spring weather has always been my favorite weather. It's not too cold to go out with a jacket, but it's also not too hot to layer. My new favorite thing to do this spring is to layer airy, long-sleeve tops under literally everything. Whether it be a cute, oversize T-shirt or a dress, I'm into it! I've also been really into throwing denim jackets over all my basic outfits to make them a little more fun and, you know, not so basic." —Yasmeena Rasheed
"Wear a bold pop of color mixed with patterns! It’s a fun way to level up any outfit.” — Nina Huynh
"Break away from *just* florals and embrace prints and patterns of all shapes and sizes. Stripes, polka dots, geometric shapes, and, yes, still florals. Groundbreaking." — Brock Williams and Chris Lin
"Our number one spring fashion styling tip is to incorporate a pop of color."
"Don't be afraid to borrow inspo from the girls! Whether it's animal prints, jewelry, sunglasses, or hats, shop the women's section to amp up your spring wardrobe. It's 2019! Guys should be able to dress as flashy as they want no matter what section they're shopping in!" — Anthony Urbano
"Wear all the color, all the prints. Conscious is cool.” — Jessi Malay
