My Favorite Jewelry Brands Are Female-Founded—22 Pieces I'm Obsessing Over Now

As an avid shopper, I like to shop for basically everything (except swimwear), but I really like to shop for jewelry. The main reason is that it's something I can wear every day if I so desire, and that could potentially remain in my wardrobe for years to come. Fashion trends can change on a dime, but jewelry trends are far longer-lasting, so I consider it to be the best investment I can make.

We certainly don't need an excuse to champion women, but given that it's Women's History Month and International Women's Day occurred earlier this week, let's talk about a few incredible female-founded jewelry brands (of which there are many). The women who started the below brands clearly understand what people desire in a jewelry piece, as their creations are highly coveted. Scroll for all the eye candy and for my top picks from each brand.

Kinn is a sustainable fine-jewelry brand that designs modern heirloom pieces that fashion people lose it over. They're equally suited for everyday wear and special occasions. The brand also recently started making unique engagement rings. Fair, transparent pricing is the icing on the cake.

Brooklyn-based Wwake was one of the first brands to really get me interested in fine jewelry, as I was initially drawn to its unique, ethereal opal pieces, which sparked a major trend that's still going strong.

Completedworks is unique in that it designs both fine and demi-fine pieces, and I love them equally. Whenever I'm looking for a statement piece that's also wearable enough for everyday, I go straight to Completedworks and have yet to be let down.

I've made somewhat of a habit out of scrolling through Stone and Strand's pieces and have several that I wear on a daily basis. I love that it provides accessibly priced, trend-forward fine jewelry, hence its massive following. I think about its epic tennis necklace (below) on a weekly basis.

I've had the pleasure of meeting Anna Sheffield, as she designed my engagement and wedding rings, and she's truly a gem (no pun intended). Not only that, but her designs are some of the most beautiful I've seen. You'll see.

AUrate's selection of 14-karat, 18-karat, and gold-vermeil pieces are filled with jewelry basics that you hardly even need to take off. When I received my first piece, I was extremely impressed by the quality and have been a fan ever since.

When I think of The Last Line, the word that comes to mind first is fun. If your aesthetic is a colorful, sparkly ear party, you've come to the right place. One of the direct-to-consumer jewelry veterans, The Last Line has maintained its fervent following since its launch.
