I'm a Shopping Editor—12 Buzzy Brands I'm Adding to My Cart From Nordstrom
As an editor, one of my favorite parts of my job is covering emerging and independent brands. I've written about British, L.A., and Australian lines to know, and that got me thinking about how the same concept could apply to Nordstrom.
While the retailer is probably best known for its household names, it's also become an unexpectedly reliable destination for discovering less mainstream brands as well. Establishing itself as a place to shop for all kinds of customers, it's somewhere you can find something regardless of what your personal style is.
Some of my personal favorites include local New York labels like Araks, Cecilie Bahnsen, Coming of Age, Emily Dawn Long, Sandy Liang, Tory Burch, and Vaquera. From L.A., there's Dôen, Leset and Staud, among others, and European favorites like Conner Ives, Lié Studio, Loulou de Saison, and Paloma Wool. Below, discover the ones worth shopping at Nordstrom.
