Every season, there are certain (and often unexpected) fashion items that rise to Insta fame. This spring and summer, it was the white long-sleeve T-shirt. We've been spotting the simple staple on a whole host of cool celebs, including Dua Lipa and Bella Hadid, as well as a ton of cool fashion people, who sported the tee in a relaxed crewneck silhouette with everything from lace-trim shorts to cargo pants and slip skirts.

While the chic basic has been a building block of our spring and summer wardrobes, the top feels just right for the fall. In fact, it's the perfect piece to transition from summer to autumn seamlessly, and my guess is you'll get a ton of use out of it once the temps start to cool—whether styled with jeans, a slip skirt, or cool poplin pants.
