The Chicest Person You Know Probably Just Bought This New Designer Bag for Fall
Meet Celine's newest everyday bag that fashion insiders are already gravitating towards.
When Michael Rider presented his debut collection for Celine in July 2025, fashion insiders were eager to see how he would bring a fresh perspective to the Parisian house—and which pieces would define his vision. Spring 2026 leaned into a polished, preppy sensibility, with printed silk scarves making an early impression. His sophomore collection continued that language, but for F/W 26, his third collection, the focus felt more expansive. Alongside beautifully tailored outerwear and kick flare trousers came a new bag that quietly stood out on the runway: the Flair Bag.
The new Celine silhouette takes the house's signatures but loosens them up. The Celine bag features a slightly flared base, cinched sides, an envelope flap, and an overall soft construction that still has structure and shape. The interesting part is the Triomphe clasp. Rider reworked the brand's iconic logo to be a turn-lock design that opens with a twist. So, if you leave the flap open, two Triomphes are visible at once.

When it comes to how you can wear the bag, the options are endless. The long, detachable strap lets it hang crossbody, while the top handle allows you to carry it by hand or in the crook of your arm. Or you can forget the straps altogether and carry it like a clutch. Available in two sizes and shiny or grained calfskin leather, the color palette ranges from classic black and white to bolder shades like red and purple.
The Flair Bag may be new, but it already has the qualities of a Celine classic: polished without feeling too sophisticated, recognizable without begging for attention, versatile for everyday wear, and timeless enough to be passed down through generations without ever losing its cool.
