Georgina Downe knows exactly what makes an outfit stop the scroll. The London-based celebrity stylist has spent the past decade shaping the wardrobes of some of fashion's most-watched names—from Sofia Richie Grainge and Kelsey Merritt to Pia Mance and Rebecca Donaldson—crafting the kind of polished, effortlessly cool looks that dominate Instagram feeds and red carpets alike.
After studying at London College of Fashion and honing her eye while assisting leading celebrity stylists across London, Los Angeles, and Sydney, Downe developed what she describes as a "modern and elevated" aesthetic. Rather than prescribing a one-size-fits-all formula, she prefers to "collaborate with each client and figure out their individual style," ensuring every look feels authentic, from airport outfits to red carpets, and that "their entire personal brand feels elevated."
As fashion continues to move beyond the era of quiet luxury, Downe believes the most compelling wardrobes are embracing individuality again. "I think we leant too hard into the quiet luxury trend, and it all started to get very repetitive," she says. Instead, she's championing "bringing personality or a little bit of edge into your looks," whether that's through sculptural accessories, tactile textures, or statement pieces that elevate timeless staples. "I saw this trend start creeping up earlier this year and now I’m seeing it everywhere. It’s a fun trend for summer that doesn’t feel like a big commitment to your summer wardrobe.
