Meghan Markle's Swimsuit Trend Hasn't Gone Out of Style Since Princess Diana Wore It in the '90s
The Duchess of Sussex shared images from her summer beach vacation with Prince Harry, Archie, and Lilibet.
Over the years, we've witnessed several different sides to Meghan Markle's style, including her outfits as a working royal, her bridal era, her pregnancy wardrobe, her apron-clad Netflix looks, and her philanthropic pantsuits. Until now, however, we've rarely caught a glimpse of her summer vacation attire. Thankfully for the Duchess of Sussex's fashion fans, she just shared an entire Instagram carousel of off-duty pictures taken on a sunny beach getaway with Prince Harry, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet.
In one picture, Markle is lounging poolside with her dog, while another image shows the royal couple at the dinner table. The one 'gram that caught my attention, however, showed Markle in a backless one-piece swimsuit with high-cut legs. The hip-baring silhouette was a favorite of Princess Diana's, who often wore high-leg one-pieces on her Caribbean vacations in the '80s and '90s. Scroll down to see how both women wear the classic swimsuit trend, which has thoroughly stood the test of time across multiple decades.
