One thing you can always count on when it comes to Tracee Ellis Ross is that she's not going to dress like everyone else, and that includes the colors she chooses to wear, especially the colors she chooses to wear together. Ellis Ross's eclectic style was on full display while she was out doing press in NYC this week, specifically in the pant and shoe colors she paired.

Ellis Ross paired bright-green pants with red shoes, and it probably wasn't because she was celebrating Christmas in July. Her pants and shoes were by Loewe. Ever since Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez took the helm as creative directors, clashing primary colors have become a noteworthy trademark of the Spanish brand, so Ellis Ross's decision to wear kelly green pants with cherry-red shoes is right in step with that. When worn during other times of the year, the colors we'd associate with the holiday season feel cool and adventurous instead of cheesy, and Ellis Ross's outfit, which she paired with a plain white tank top, is the perfect example of that.
