I’ve Found the Perfect Leather Jacket From My Favourite High-Street Brand
As we creep towards the autumn months I’ve been quietly combing through my favourite fashion brands in search of the leather jacket of the season. I’ve hit refresh on NET-A-PORTER on the daily and have scrolled up and down MATCHES more times than I can count. I’ve even waded through pages of Google in my pursuit of finding the perfect leather jacket for me. Prepared to drop a pretty penny, I'm both relieved and elated to have stumbled across the leather jacket of my dreams at one of my favourite high-street brands, COS.
Whilst the leather jacket will never go out of style, different cuts and shapes do fall in and out of favour. COS’s iteration feels distinctly fresh and very 2023 in its minimal and streamlined design. Edging towards an oversized fit, the jacket features dropped shoulders that exaggerate the roomy feel, as well as rounded sleeves, which work to polish the silhouette.
COS is a firm favourite for its reliable, polished designs. As I turn to the store for fresh white tees and smart trousers year after year, it's no surprise that it has enamoured me with its sleek take on this autumn wardrobe staple. In fact, the entire team has been holding their breath for when this particular item would finally land online after seeing it in various brand images and touch-points such as their newsletter.
Ideal for styling throughout autumn with straight-leg jeans and boots, I'm also looking forward to dressing the jacket up with a mini skirt, merino knit and black tights on a cool evening.
