Chrissy Teigen Wore a $15K Gucci Bag With Ripped Skinny Jeans in Beverly Hills
We recently did an entire story on how celebrities dress while out and about in Beverly Hills. It's certainly an interesting juxtaposition because it's where the laid-back California vibe and high-fashion luxury intersect. Chrissy Teigen's most recent look for a day of shopping with her daughter proved just that. While her ripped skinny jeans and relaxed coat were decidedly chill, her accessories were decidedly luxurious. The furry Fendi slides pack enough designer impact on their own, but Teigen also wore a crocodile Gucci bag that retails for $15,000.
Why so pricey? We've all grown accustomed to faux croc, which is basically just embossed leather. Teigen's ultra-pricey bag is genuine crocodile, and rare exotic skins always come with a hefty price tag. While it may not be an everyday price, the style of the bag is actually perfect for everyday use, as it's an ideal size, can be worn crossbody (as Teigen did) or on the shoulder, and the subtle logo and classic feel makes it quite timeless.
However, who besides celebrities even has $15K for a handbag? Because of that, keep scrolling to shop a variety of covetable Gucci handbags that cost significantly less than Teigen's, and shop her entire look if you're so inclined.
On Chrissy Teigen: Victoria Beckham Sheer Belted Coat ($1342); L'Agence Daniella Top ($225); Gucci Ophidia Crocodile Small Shoulder Bag ($15000); GRLFRND Karolina Distressed High-Rise Skinny Jeans ($248); Fendi Double F Pool Slides ($690)
