The $4300 Céline Bag I'm Telling All My Friends About

I don't often seriously consider purchasing insanely expensive, luxury pieces. Even though I have a love for fashion, I consider myself quite savvy when it comes to spending. But an accessory that has caught my attention this year—making me completely rethink my shopping habits—is the Céline clasp bag from the Autumn 2017 Collection. Unlike many other Céline accessories, it's a very simple, rectangular-shaped bag with a short handle, embodying an elegant '60s vibe.

I have a suspicion that the reason why it's so lust-worthy is its exclusivity. It hasn't been seen on a huge number of celebrities and only on a few select influencers. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be getting my hands on it anytime soon. It's not available to purchase in Australia (yet), plus, it comes with a hefty price tag of $4300, but that hasn't stopped me talking about it with all of my friends. With minimalist trends in major force for 2017 (and beyond, surely), the simplicity of this style says it all. You don't always need embellishments or logos to make a statement. I've promised myself that if the bag lands on our shores, I'm making a beeline to the shopping counter.
