What A-Listers Wear When the Weather Is Annoyingly Unpredictable
Rain? Snow? Fluctuating temperatures? Celebrities (like us) have seen it all, yet they somehow (unlike us) manage to maintain their flawless appearance no matter what the climate throws at them. For that reason, it only seems fitting that in our current period of transitional weather, we look to them to inspire a round of outfits that can handle the most unpredictable of elements.

On Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: Balmain x H&M coat; Stuart Weitzman All Legs Over the Knee Boots (£665).
Style Notes: By sticking with head-to-toe black in different textures, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was both snow-ready and night-out ready.
On Kate Hudson: Stuart Weitzman Highland Over the Knee Boots (£627).
Style Notes: Hudson stayed warm by layering two sweaters (check out her sleeves!) under a furry colour-block coat and adding thigh-high boots.
On Karlie Kloss: Burberry London The Kensington Long Cotton-Gabardine Trench Coat (£1295); Zara sweater; Stuart Weitzman Lowland Over the Knee Boots (£665).
Style Notes: Kloss made her outfit rain-ready in NYC by throwing a lightweight trench on over a chunky knit, jeans, and thigh-high boots (do you see a boot trend emerging?).
On Alexa Chung: Acne Studios jacket; Burberry Classic Cashmere Scarf (£200).
Style Notes: A beanie, scarf and gloves are the perfect finishing touches for Alexa Chung’s shearling moto—all of which could fit inside her tote should she step inside.
On Dakota Johnson: Gucci Round Two Tone Sunglasses (£280).
Style Notes: Take cues from Dakota Johnson by contrasting ladylike coat with tailored trousers and loafers.
Style Notes: Gigi Hadid pulled off the impossible, aka wearing a trucker hat, hoodie and leggings for a night out by styling them under a sleek coat and adding heeled ankle boots and a mini bag.
On Olivia Palermo: Salvatore Ferragamo sweater; Iris von Arnim scarf; Nike Air Max Thea Sneakers (£90).
Style Notes: Olivia dressed down (cosy) leather pants with Nikes, a printed scarf, and a knit-on-knit combo on top.

Since starting as an intern back in 2013, Nicole Akhtarzad Eshaghpour has held several roles here at Who What Wear, and she is currently Editor-at-Large. It was a less expected route, seeing as she was graduating from business school at USC when this all began, but it has turned out to be the best one for her. Fast-forward to 2024, and she's moved to NYC from her hometown of Beverly Hills and spends her workdays a little differently from when she was an intern starting out. Currently, she focuses on a weekly mélange of shopping content. As far as her personal style goes, she's largely drawn to classic pieces and neutral basics but will always make an exception for something colorful, printed, or bejeweled as long as it's deemed worthy enough. After all, the only thing she loves more than a good party is dressing up for one. On weekdays, she can usually be found at home eating something delicious for dinner and trying to force her husband to watch Summer House.
