15 Celebrity Outfits That Define How We Actually Want to Dress Right Now
Taking a scroll through Instagram recently, I realized just how many celebrity outfits I was taking screenshots of. With fewer red carpets or celebrity appearances happening than in years past, Instagram is more and more becoming a place where we can get a glimpse at what celebs are wearing. Naturally, there are plenty of cool loungewear looks and winter-ready cold weather outfits that are inspiring how I style mine. But there are also some more dressed-up looks that I can’t wait to reinterpret for myself.
More and more, celebs have been getting dressed up at home for virtual events—whether it’s Hailey Bieber in head-to-toe Saint Laurent to celebrate the brand’s latest runway show, Emma Louise Corrin for a virtual premiere of The Crown, or just an excuse to throw on a fun outfit. Ahead, I’m highlighting some of my favorite celebrity outfits that I’ll be repeating long into 2021.
Wearing: Saint Laurent top, belt, shorts, and heels
Off-the-shoulder tops haven't popped up in a while, but now I'm reinspired to wear one after spotting Hailey Bieber in this outfit.
Wearing: The Row Big Sisea Shirt ($1490), Chandler Pants ($790), boots, and belt; By Far Eve Bag
There is nothing you can feel more confident about adding to your closet than a pair of tailored trousers.
Wearing: Saint Laurent top, shorts, and heels
I was ready to take a break from bike shorts but Lily Collins is convincing me otherwise.
Wearing: Frankie Shop sweatsuit; Nike sneakers
The best way to dress cozy at home? A matching sweatsuit. I especially love this versatile cream shade spotted on Ashley Graham.
Shop the matching Vanessa Cotton-Jersey Track Pants ($150)
While I tend to gravitate towards gold jewelry, I've been wearing silver pieces more and more, so I'm looking to add some new ones to my collection.
Wearing: Coperni Motion Tailored Jacket ($660) and Tailored Trousers ($518); Versus Versace boots; Monica Vinader x Doina Wide Chain Necklace ($625); Bvlgari Necklace; Michael Kors ring; Evolvetogether Milan Mask ($9)
Bella Hadid's sleek puffer is the winter essential I'm telling everyone to buy right now. You can't go wrong by pairing this with trousers or jeans.
Wearing: Hood by Air jacket
If you're ready to swap in a new take on winter outerwear, a utility parka is the Rosalia-approved way to look stylish during the cold weather.
While I've been living in neutral button-downs, I think a fun pop of color is a great, easy way to instantly make a look more vibrant.
This feather-embellished dress is just stunning. Simply add a great pair of heels for the ultimate show-stopping look.
Wearing: Saint Laurent bag
Tracee Ellis Ross is making a very strong case for cropped tees. I actually want to repeat this entire look from head-to-toe, if I'm being honest.
Wearing: Miu Miu top, tights, and shoes
Emma Louise Corrin's cool-meets-quirky sense of style has me very inspired. How incredible are these patterned Miu Miu tights?
Baggy jeans are on the rise and the coolest way to wear them is with other oversize pieces.
I'm ready to swap in a sculptural piece for a standard leather jacket. I can't stop thinking about the amazing '80s silhouettes that are on the market right now.
Cutout pieces are one of the many "naked" trends that will be everywhere in 2021. But why wait until then to start wearing them?
Wearing: Prada hat
Prada logo pieces are back and cooler than ever. My pick would be the brand's just-dropped Cleo bag.
