Being photographed before or after (or sometimes even during) a workout comes with the territory when you’re a celebrity. Paparazzi pretty much camp outside of SoulCycle and Equinox in New York and Los Angeles, so it’s no wonder that A-listers always seem to have the perfect workout gear for the occasion. That said, they still need to actually exercise. Consequently, the most stylish among them have perfected the art of the fine balance that is a functional, stylish workout outfit.

On the flip side, we couldn’t help but notice there are certain items that you’d never see a stylish celebrity wear to the gym, for one reason or another. Some of them would hinder their workout and some would hinder their style. Intrigued?
