The Celebrity-Loved Jeans That Always Sell Out

Discovering a new pair of jeans on a celebrity is great; denim is often infinitely more obtainable than some of the other, high-end pieces A-listers flaunt, yet you can re-wear it on a weekly basis. Case in point: The celeb-loved jeans featured below have an average cost of around $200. (Not including Alexa Chung’s highly sought-after Vetements pair, which is in a league of its own.)

Often it’s the stylish celebrity who make the jeans sell out, and other times a style star will wear them because they’re good enough to always sell out. Either way, we sought out the jeans that celebs love to wear (and that are often out of stock as a result) and did a little digging to find where you can still purchase them for yourself. From Emma Roberts’s favorite pair that Mother Denim can’t keep in stock to Bella Hadid’s affordable reworked vintage pair, these are the celebrity picks that retailers can’t keep on the shelves.

The interesting hem detail of these Mother jeans makes them special. Retailers consistently sell out quickly, but the brand has been restocking and releasing new shades.

On Emma Roberts: Sunday Somewhere Laura 54mm Cat Eye Sunglasses ($270); Alexa Chung for AG shirt; Mother Insider Crop Step Fray Jeans ($208); Gucci Soho Bag ($980); Topshop Unique shoes.

Both Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner are fans of this light-wash Frame Denim pair. These are perfect for the coming warmer months, which might have something to do with the fact that they were particularly difficult to find in stock, but find them we did.

On Gigi Hadid: Krewe du Optic Conti Sunglasses ($275); Frame Denim Le Original Crop Jeans in Gregory ($239); Oscar Tiye Samira Black Suede Boots ($639).

These cropped, fringed jeans from 3x1 were an instant hit, loved by celebs and street style stars alike (hence the high sell-out rate). Luckily, you can follow suit and add them to your own closet, as the brand has restocked.

On Kerry Washington: Kate Spade New York top; 3x1 WM3 Straight Crop Fringe Jeans ($295); Mansur Gavriel Suede Volume Clutch ($695); Salvatore Ferragamo Gilli 85mm Striped Sandals ($950).

Re/Done is a Los Angeles brand that repurposes vintage Levi’s. A slew of celebrities are fans, and every cool, unique style sells like hotcakes, but we’re partial to Ratajkowski’s cropped pick.

On Emily Ratajkowski: Frame Le Velvet Blazer ($399); Gucci Lady Web Bag ($1990); Re/Done High-Waist Skinny Crop Jeans ($265); Christian Louboutin So Kate Pointy Toe Pumps ($675).

The Vetements craze all started with its deconstructed denim. The directional jeans have been worn by trendsetting stars like Chung, Selena Gomez, and Rita Ora. Despite the over-$1K price tag, none of the brand’s styles are easy to find. Luckily, Ssense restocks fairly regularly, in case you’re in the market for a major denim splurge.

On Alexa Chung: Saint Laurent blazer; Marks & Spencer Archive by Alexa top; Vetements Blue Reconstructed 1410 Jeans ($1395); Longchamp Penelope Tote ($935); Valentino shoes.

Bella Hadid

When we recently reported on Hadid’s $88 jeans, they quickly sold out (as predicted). The good news is that the pants, from Nasty Gal’s new reworked vintage collection, are still available in equally cool black.

On Bella Hadid: Nasty Gal Scouted Open Back Bodysuit ($58) and After Party Vintage Like a Badass 501 Jeans ($88); Joie jacket; Dear Frances Spirit Boots ($660).

Olivia Palermo

Palermo has worn her beloved pair of distressed AG jeans for years. And since every clothing item she touches turns to gold, they’re usually MIA, but AG often restocks them on its site, so fortunately, we can all channel the style star.

On Olivia Palermo: Westward Leaning x Olivia Palermo Flower 13 Sunglasses ($275); AG The Legging Ankle Jeans in 7 Years Break Me Down ($215); Fendi Mink Fur, Fox Fur & Rabbit Fur Bag Bug ($900).

Kendall Jenner

Clocking in at $99, Jenner’s go-to black skinny jeans from Big Star are, unsurprisingly, sold out everywhere, but if you love the flattering style, they’re still available in Dark Denim.

On Kendall Jenner: Vera Wang coat; Unravel Basic Distressed Tee ($350); Big Star Ella High Rise Skinny Jeans ($99); Givenchy Nightingale Tote ($1782); Gianvito Rossi Over the Knee Boots ($1785).
