This "Goofy" Accessory Is Taking France and Italy by Storm

The street style trends that have emerged throughout this fashion month have been anything but low-key. From neon to bike shorts to animal print, the current trends are clearly not for the faint of heart. Over the summer, we covered the bucket-hat trend at length, but truth be told, we thought we'd see it fade away once fall hit. That has not occurred. Instead, it's only grown.

Specifically, in Paris and Milan in recent days, we've spotted fashion insider after fashion insider wearing the admittedly "goofy" hat style, and perhaps most surprising is how chic everyone looks in them. We're thinking that the continuation of the trend has to do with the fact that the coolest designer brands—Prada, Gucci, Dior—are selling their own versions, which people like Kaia Gerber have clearly found to be irresistible.

Scroll on for some of the street style proof of the bucket-hat trend that's taking France and Italy by storm and to shop the best versions on the market.
