If You Like Reformation, Then Try These Brands

Don’t get me wrong: I like Reformation as much as (if not more than) the next girl, but that doesn’t mean we can’t switch it up every once in a while. After all, the more It brands you have on your radar the better—especially for those times when that new Ref top you’ve been eyeing is out of stock in your size and you need to get your hands on a failproof outfit stat—you know?

While it may be hard to believe, there are actually quite a few other brands out there right now that can make a killer dress, cute top, trendy set just as well, and I figured that since summer is on the horizon, it would be a good time to share. Plus, like Reformation, they’re all worth the investment but won’t completely break the bank, either, which I know is a major draw for us all. To see, read about them, and shop all six of the brands, just keep scrolling.

1. Faithfull the Brand

Now that Faithfull the Brand is sold on all our favorite websites (think Shopbop, Net-a-Porter, Nordstrom, and more), it’s hard not to have a handful of pieces from the brand on your wish list at all times.

Australian brand Posse is one of my favorite low-key labels for cool summer clothes that everyone else you know won’t be wearing. Every item they make exudes effortless perfection.

3. With Jéan

With Jéan’s timeless pieces were designed to pair perfectly with your beloved denim—which is just one reason why we’re obsessed with the up-and-coming brand. Once you see the clothes, the rest will be clear.

Formerly a designer for Reformation, Pia Arrobio brought her knack for creating It items to her own brand, LPA, in 2016. If you’re (somehow) not familiar already, prepare to become obsessed.

5. The Line by K

Karla Deras’s The Line by K has been on our radar for a while now, but its launch on Net-a-Porter has deservedly catapulted the label to a whole new level. We love its figure-flattering take on trendy skirts, tops, and dresses.

6. Staud

If you start noticing everyone around you or on your feed wearing the same, cool It-bag, knit, or dress, there's a strong-to-quite-strong chance it's by Staud. My favorite thing about the brand, however, is that while their statement pieces are amazing, they have a ton of classics you'll wear forever, too.

7. Who What Wear Collection

The best basics are those you can wear over and over again, and fans of statement staple pieces are in for a treat: we recently launched a whole new collection—and it's good. From knit sets to sophisticated tops, everything you could ever need for a directional wardrobe is here.

Editor-at-Large

Since starting as an intern back in 2013, Nicole Akhtarzad Eshaghpour has held several roles here at Who What Wear, and she is currently Editor-at-Large. It was a less expected route, seeing as she was graduating from business school at USC when this all began, but it has turned out to be the best one for her. Fast-forward to 2020, and she's moved to NYC from her hometown of Beverly Hills and spends her workdays a little differently from when she was an intern starting out. Currently, she focuses on a weekly mélange of shopping content. As far as her personal style goes, she's largely drawn to classic pieces and neutral basics but will always make an exception for something colorful, printed, or bejeweled as long as it's deemed worthy enough. After all, the only thing she loves more than a good party is dressing up for one. On weekdays, she can usually be found at home eating something delicious for dinner and trying to force her husband to watch 90 Day Fiancé.
