Sure, there is a range of denim trends coming for classic skinny jeans this season (ahem, flares and wide-leg cuts), but skinnies will always remain a tried-and-true staple—in my eyes at least. In fact, I often save skinny-jean outfits on IG that I’m interested in or want to recommend to my friends. And interestingly enough, after scrolling through the latest saves, I quickly came to the conclusion that my favorite skinny-jean looks all seem to feature specific shoe trends.
That’s right, the chicest ensembles with skinnies are all finished off with one of six sleek footwear silhouettes. Of course, you simply can't go wrong with timeless black ankle boots. These standbys work with just about anything but especially classic skinny jeans.
