33 Things I Accidentally Discovered for Myself While I Was Gift Shopping
Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one Who What Wear team member or friend of the brand will share the top finds on their current wish list.
Ask any editor and they'll tell you that fielding requests for gift ideas is part of the job. This year, whilst on my humble search for the perfect presents, I accidentally ended up with more things than usual in my own cart: beauty tools and products (especially some affordable picks from designer brands), winter fashion (from trend pieces on a budget to investment outerwear), and chic home buys (to make a space just a little more lovely during these cozy months).
It's that magical time of year when loads of things are on sale, so be prepared to discover that lots of these tempting buys are at even better prices once you click through to their sites. You have been warned.
Such a chic little guy that comes in a slew of colors (and in the most gift-able gift box).
I swear every cool girl in New York is currently keeping warm in this cozy Anine Bing number. It's the luxe teddy-vibe and faux-leather trim that makes this elite.
Just bought these cute little babies for myself and highly recommend.
My friend and Who What Wear co-worker Mollie Mandel always has the perfect rosy glow, and she swears by this cute little creamy blush.
I own this sweater, and it's stupidly soft. Stupidly, stupidly soft. As someone who often shops in the menswear section, I love the genderless sizing.
It's the fashion crowd's favorite cap, but in a winter-ready wool.
I'm into gifting cool caps, what can I say.
Let it be said, Rachel Greene would own this leather coat.
Parisian brand Polène truly makes the most exquisite leather handbags at such a great price point and in so many chic neutrals.
Speaking of Khaite, my obsession with this collaboration continues. These are the perfect everyday version of the earrings I can't stop thinking about for my wedding.
I don't care how much loungewear you already own, you will love these.
The matching collared sweater is so good it deserves a moment outside your apartment.
I guarantee anyone who loves Le Labo fragrances will love this candle.
Maybe the best value genuine leather trench on the internet.
If you're like me and all your friends are having babies, I have it on good authority that these leggings are a huge hit. These took me down the Adidas legging rabbit hole.
Everyone I know is obsessed with Nécessaire products.
If you're into chic homewares and shopping small, Trésor is a one-woman business in San Fransisco, handcrafting the most perfect sculptural decor candles.
However hard I may try to resist, there's no avoiding the eventual need of a backpack. I love that this minimalist style is made from recycled plastic bottles.
This under-$50 cult product is a beauty editor favorite—so if if it's available, snap one up.
Maybe the world's softest sweatshirt, with sleeves that bring a little drama.
The best hairbrush on the market isn't cheap, but it's definitely worth the investment—this handbag-friendly mini version makes such a good gift.

Natalie leads the style direction for the all content we create in partnership with our friends at various brands plus the legendary team of editors who work on those shoots and stories. She loves collaborating and storytelling, so it's a really fun role for her. It's also the first full-time job she's ever had! She started out in her career as a very mediocre model who agreed to her first styling job to impress a photographer she had a crush on, which led her down a happy path of contributing to Vogue Australia and working as a stylist, fashion writer, and creative director for all sorts of brands and titles. She has a bachelor of communications, but most of her career opportunities came up thanks to some fleeting and accidental street style moments. She's been at Who What Wear for three and a half years and still loves to work as a freelance consultant with brands and designers to shoot their campaigns in NYC. She's originally from New Zealand, and Bondi Beach is her second home, but like just about every other 20-something, she fell in love with New York at some point. She lives in Williamsburg with her fiancé and their weird little dog, Ruby. If you ever need reccies for feel-good fashion, legit coffee spots, politics podcasts, or non-intimidating yoga studios, she's very much your girl.
