This Chic Summer Shorts Trend Is Winning Over Every Other
When it comes to summer trends, Bermuda shorts are one of my favorite fashion finds. Spotted on runways from Bottega Veneta to Saint Laurent and everywhere on the street style scene, they’re a fashion essential to add to your arsenal. While at first, they may seem tricky to wear, I’ve found that they are one of the easiest pieces to style once you have a few tricks down. Simply paired with a scoop-neck top and heels, it’s an outfit staple that I’ve been wearing again and again. Looking to fashion people for inspiration, though, I’ve discovered a number of chic ways to pair the shorts.
Whether paired with a simple cardigan, a padded T-shirt and heels, a button-down and flip-flops, or a sweater and sport sandals, there are endless winning outfit formulas to try out for yourself. Ahead, I’m highlighting outfits approved by fashion people and pieces inspired by their looks. Trust me, you’ll want to add these to your closet immediately.
As I mentioned, this trend is a personal favorite. I like to keep things simple, so my favorite way to style a pair of Bermuda shorts is with a scoop-neck tee.
Add a cool cardigan to a pair of denim Bermuda shorts.
To transition the look to fall, add a pair of knee-high boots.
Or, simply add a pretty knit.

Throwback strapless tops have been everywhere this summer. I can't think of a better way to wear one.

Flip-flop heels for the win.
Bra tops just won't quit.
This might be the ultimate transitional look.
