As someone who's very used to the wishy-washy UK weather, it seems ungrateful to wish away the current summer season. However, I just can’t help but feel excited for autumn this year. From the long walks around London with a coffee in hand to all of the outfit ideas I’ve spotted and cannot wait to try out, autumn just has a special place in my heart. And one thing that I cannot wait for is my first pedicure of the season.

But first, I needed to take a browse at my favourite nail experts and influencers to find out what pedicures colours will be trending in autumn 2025, and as a self-proclaimed minimalist, consider me very impressed. Gone are the more ‘out-there’ summer shades and bolder holiday-ready hues, and in their place remain the classic and chic hues I know and love too well. Think classy navy tones, rich chocolate browns, and deep cherry reds that perfectly embody the elegance and sophistication I’m sure we all want to emulate this season.

Deep, dark red tones are synonymous with the cold weather seasons, and there’s just something about a black cherry pedicure that feels so elegant around this time of year. I’d personally opt for a nail polish hue with a brown undertone and then finish it off with a top coat for that ultra-glossy look.

Opting for a pedicure with a pearl-inspired finish will add some dimension to your toes, not to mention it looks so pretty. You can go for any shade, but more subtle pink hues are having a moment right now, and it will no doubt be the most popular pearlescent pedi to book in for this autumn.

I cannot get enough of chocolate brown hues at the moment. From my shoes all the way up to the coats I’m investing in for the new season, and this rich shade is also what stylish people are booking in for at the salon at the moment. Expensive-looking and incredibly versatile, you cannot go wrong with a dark brown pedicure this season.

Brown is clearly dominating autumn/winter 2025, but if you prefer lighter tones, I’ve got good news. Tiramisu pedicures are on the rise. I actually had this milky brown hue on my toes this summer, but I’m now very tempted to book in again for a sophisticated autumn iteration of the pedicure.

Incredibly similar to the onyx pedicure trend that took off this summer, Ink nails have this same deep hue and shiny top coat to give your toes a sophisticated, sleek look. Not to mention that much like with black clothing, shoes and accessories, a pedicure in this moody colour will go with everything you wear.

I’m not going to lie, if you told me that I, a self-proclaimed minimalist, would be considering a green pedicure of all things, I would have laughed at you. However, there’s just something about this deep moss hue that’s calling to me for autumn 2025. This more muted green feels fresh enough for the new season but also neutral enough to remain within my comfort zone.
