A Love Is Blind
Street Style Star of the Year: Pernille Teisbaek
Pernille Teisbaek is proof you don’t have to fill your wardrobe with designer duds to stand out on the street style scene. But it’s not just the ability to seek out the best H&M pieces that landed the Danish beauty on the top of our list, but more important, the way in which she styles such high-street finds for the perfect high-low result. Check out our exclusive shoot with the street star.

Model Muse: Kendall Jenner
Simply put, this was the year of Kendall Jenner. We all watched as the 20-year-old model blew up on the runways and landed a slew of covetable campaigns, including Estée Lauder and Balmain, but what kept us tuned in all these months was Jenner’s effortless off-duty style. A mix of cool athleisurewear and streamlined separates, Jenner’s look is both refreshing and accessible.
The Risk Taker: Natalie Joos
Natalie Joos, the founder of Tales of Endearment and the recent e-commerce component Tales of Vintage, is a breath of fresh air on the street style scene. Clad in spirited looks that reflect her love for vintage fashion and bold contemporary designs, the influencer is a walking reminder that fashion is (and always should be) fun.

Of-the-moment footwear? Check! Season It piece? Check! If fashion week street style were an Olympic sport, Ferragni would win the gold medal every time.
Best Accessories: Miroslava Duma
Miroslava Duma may be small in stature, but her penchant for noteworthy accessories is anything but. Whether it’s an unexpected headpiece, a stack of cool cuffs, or an architectural necklace, the founder of Buro 24/7 has taught us an outfit is never complete without the perfect finishing touch.

That look you saw in the Chanel show? Odds are pretty good Anna Dello Russo will be wearing it the next day—only better than the model. Come fashion week, the runways are Russo’s oyster, and the Vogue Japan editor at large knows just how to turn heads.

Best Street Style Couple: Veronika Heilbrunner and Justin O'Shea
If you’re not already familiar with fashion’s power couple Veronika Heilbrunner and Justin O’Shea, it’s time to get acquainted. Heilbrunner, co-founder of the website Hey Woman!, quickly won us over with her genderless sensibilities and the fact that she makes flats look cool with just about everything. O’Shay is about as dapper as they come, with his three-piece suits and greased-back hair—and the man knows his womenswear, too! He is the buyer for online retailer Mytheresa.com, after all.

Best Editor Style: Julia Sarr-Jamois
No standard uniform here! Known for her eclectic sensibilities—mixed prints, bright color-blocking, and attention-grabbing accessories—Julia Sarr-Jamois is the definition of a fun, fearless female. We love that she doesn’t play it safe with her look, taking editor style to a whole new level of cool.
Owns New York Style: Leandra Medine
When we think of New York fashion girls, Leandra Medine immediately comes to mind. Her look is every bit as exciting and unapologetic as the city itself. Outfitted in fashion-forward ensembles—that at times “repel” the opposite sex—Medine reminds women everywhere that great style stems from confidence.
Owns Los Angeles Style: Kate Bosworth
Kate Bosworth’s style perfectly mimics the casual cool vibes of her West Coast surroundings—think easy denim, breezy frocks, and killer ankle booties—balanced by a healthy dose of sophistication. Forever our music-festival muse, Bosworth continues to break any stereotypes associated with the L.A. fashion scene.

Owns London Style: Poppy Delevingne
If there’s anything we learned from our time with Poppy Delevingne earlier this year, it’s that she is A) a total girl’s girl and B) a thrill seeker at heart—and her wardrobe follows suit! A cheeky clutch here, a playful print there—Delevingne’s outfits, while quintessentially British in their rock ’n’ roll feel, always have a little bit of a wink to them. And did we mention she nailed every one of her looks at London Fashion Week this September? Delevingne doesn’t just own It Brit style; she defines it.

Owns Milan Style: Giovanna Battaglia
As a contributing fashion editor for W Magazine, a senior editor at Vogue Japan, and the creative director of New York City cabaret Queen of the Night, Giovanna Battaglia’s influence is on a global scale, but no where is she more in her element than her native Milan. Come fashion week, the Italian beauty infuses the season’s most daring looks with a sophistication and playful edge, making her a photographer favorite wherever she goes.
Owns Paris Style: Emmanuelle Alt
Emmanuelle Alt’s uniform is simple but powerful: black top, black bottoms, and a statement jacket. It’s been her signature for years, but the fuss-free look never gets old. In fact, spotting the Vogue Paris editor in chief on the streets is a necessary reminder that you don’t have to buy into trends to stay fashionable and that, above all, less is more!

Best Photographer: Tommy Ton
With an eye for interesting details and an ability to capture some of the most visually stunning moments outside the shows, we could easily argue Tommy Ton was a pioneer of street style photography. Before launching his own site this September, the Toronto native’s images graced the pages of some of the most prestigious publications, including Style.com and GQ, making him a fixture on the streets of fashion week season after season.
