Kendall Jenner arguably owes much of her career success to social media—and particularly Instagram—so it might be shocking to her huge fanbase that her Instagram account is no longer available to the public. Her hundreds of photos (and millions upon millions of likes and comments) have disappeared from the platform, replaced by the message: "Sorry, this page isn't available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed." However, her Twitter and Facebook pages are still active.

No word yet on whether Jenner has deleted the account or simply disabled it, but it's clear that she wants to take a break from Instagram. Jenner's May 2015 interview with UK newspaper The Sunday Times just might shed light on her decision. “I think social media has taken over our generation,” Jenner told paper last year. “It’s a big part of our lives and it’s kind of sad. I hate it sometimes, like, I literally want to throw my phone so I can’t look at it. It’s all a made-up world if you think about it. Social media, everything, this interview, everything. It’s not real. It’s pretty crazy.” Even though she's probably enjoying a much-deserved break, here's to hoping she comes back to Instagram soon!

Senior News Editor

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 12 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of senior news editor (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
