We're going to go ahead and say that Karlie Kloss is one of our favorite style icons of the moment. The supermodel consistently steps out in such chic outfits that we're always up for copying. That being said, when she takes it to a whole other level, we definitely take notice and want to take the time to appreciate it. Well, right now is one of those times.
For the 2016 Fashion Awards Nominees brunch, this model not only wore a major statement item but also incorporated a really cool style trick. She donned a Brian Koma embroidered sweater, complete with front embellishments and a contrasting red collar. Aside from convincing us how cool you can make a retro sweater look when you dress it up with nice trousers, she also showed us the cool-girl way to color-coordinate your outfit. She matched the red collar with a pair of pumps in a similar hue and even a red-orange clutch. These little pops of color were a genius move on her part to take her primarily black outfit to the next level.
