You Can Now Buy Meghan Markle's Second Wedding Dress

It was the wedding watched 'round the world: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's fairytale nuptials at Windsor Castle. While she continues to make well-dressed appearances (including her first solo engagement with the Queen this week), we're still not over her epic bridal looks from her wedding. Now Stella McCartney is giving us more to indulge in.

In an interview with British Vogue, McCartney revealed that she is re-creating the Duchess of Sussex's now-iconic halter dress in extremely limited quantities in honour of her new flagship store in London—specifically, she's making 23 versions in white and 23 in black. The re-creations, which are described as "the mirror image" of Markle's dress, cost £3,500 each, so we finally know how much her famous dress was worth. They are also made with the same sustainable viscose fabric as the Duchess', so every last detail is the same.

Of course, there's a catch: Potential buyers have to schedule a private appointment and have to be approved by McCartney herself. Bon chance! Scroll down to revisit the famous dress and see McCartney's original sketch.

Associate Director, Fashion News

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
