Chloë Sevigny's Sheer Wedding Dress Is Straight Out of a Fashion-Girl Fairytale
Congratulations are in order (again) for one of New York City's original It girls: Chloë Sevigny, who, for the second time, got married this weekend to gallery director Siniša Mačković, who Sevigny shares a son with. (The couple first wed in a secret ceremony at City Hall in NYC in March of 2020.) Naturally, the bride—who gathered her closest and coolest friends in Connecticut for the church nuptials—wore Haute Couture, specifically, an almost completely sheer gown from Glenn Marten's Jean Paul Gaultier collection, which debuted in January.
Sevigny's wedding dress was one of 36 total looks from Marten's one-off collection for the brand and was styled in the lookbook with a voluminous, tulle veil that Sevigny wore for the ceremony. Made entirely of white tulle and lace, her gown featured exaggerated tulle shoulder details and a delicate lace lining, which you can see because of its bare-all quality. In other words, Sevigny's bridal look, styled by Haley Wollens, was perfect—and extremely her.
See the just-married couple on their second wedding day below.
