What's the difference between a tracksuit and a loungewear set? Well, precious little, to be honest. My opinion, however, after a short analysis of available loungewear, is that there are a couple of differentiating features. Firstly, loungewear is never something you'd work out in. Secondly, it's generally more luxe. Okay, you might find that hoodies are a consistent feature across both, but with loungewear, they nearly always come in expensive fabrics such as cashmere or wool. Finally, while tracksuits are often on the bolder side of the rainbow, with loungewear, I prefer to stick to muted palettes. Give me a beige, cream, or grey, and if you prefer something a little sharper, opt for navy or black.
