Personally, I'm not a huge fan of sales shopping. Mainly because I worry about the risk of panic buying items that I don't really need and regretting it later. Not to mention the anxiety-inducing chaos of sales racks when sale shopping IRL. There are, however, a couple of exceptions when discounts make me stop and pay serious attention. The first is when big ticket investment items go on sale, like beautiful wool coats or designer bags that have been on my wish list for a long time, and the second is a Toteme sale.

The Swedish brand is an absolute favourite of mine for elegant wardrobe classics, and over the years I've saved and invested in a number of its beautiful staples that I still wear on regular rotation. Because its pieces are always so season-less, it makes for the ideal brand to shop on sale.
