Not to toot our own horn or anything, but generally, when it comes to viral dresses, we tend to spot the winners a mile off—think ASOS's green maxi or the famous polka-dot dress. However, when Topshop released a snake-print pleated maxi dress, we didn't immediately mark it down for mass appeal. How wrong we were.
In the space of a month, we've spotted this statement-making piece literally everywhere in London—worn with everything from trainers and felt hats to strappy heels and beaded bags. Riding the wave of the animal-print revival, Topshop's dress may have maximalist appeal, but we think the secret lies in the flattering fit. A nipped-in waist? Check. Flowy skirt? Check. A cheeky leg slit? You bet.
