Yawn if you must, but fashion editors love pieces that are versatile. Especially right now, with an emphasis on ensuring our wardrobes are as sustainable as possible, we want our hero items to go that extra mile. One such item for me is the midi skirt. I've spoken before about how I'm not usually a skirt person, but if I had to choose one to wear most often, it would be the midi skirt.
It's the best length for me, as I'm 5'3'', and it falls just above my ankle. But the best bit is that I find they work so well with boots in the autumn and winter but look cool with a pair of sneakers or sandals in the summer.
