Sofia Richie Wore Every Royal's Favorite Shoe Trend on Her 25th Birthday

It's safe to say Sofia Richie Grainge has had an eventful year. Not only did she have the ultimate South of France wedding, but she also cracked the code to TikTok fame in the process. Oh, and how can I forget her most significant achievement to date (wink, wink): her turn as Who What Wear's cover star. Today, she hit yet another milestone, turning a quarter of a century old.

For her 25th birthday, she posted a series of photos on Instagram, including a beach stroll, a yummy breakfast, and cute cupcakes. Naturally, her celebratory outfit is what caught my eye. I immediately zeroed in on her classic shoes. They're nude pointy-toe pumps, a royal favorite. It's no wonder why Princess Kate, Queen Letizia, Meghan Markle, Princess Charlene, and many other royals all own the shoes. They're polished and go with absolutely everything. Scroll down to see how Richie Grainge and royal women all style the same shoe trend.

Erin Fitzpatrick
Senior News Editor

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 12 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of senior news editor (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
