I Whispered "Yes" to Myself When I Saw These Simple Yet Chic Outfits
I routinely scroll through the feeds of my favorite fashion follows in search of outfit inspiration for myself and for you, dear readers. When I find an especially top-notch 'fit, I often catch myself whispering "yesss" and then immediately adding it to my saved folder. Today, I thought I'd share some of the standouts with you if you're looking for a few fresh ideas.
While all of the ensembles coming your way are unique in their own right, they're similar, in that they're actually quite easy to put together. Every look is chic and forward but simple in nature, requiring just a few pieces (many of which are elevated basics).
Keep scrolling to check out eight simple yet chic outfit formulas to consider for the season.
I paused and basically stared at this look for a minute when I saw it because I loved it so much. It's easy with just a few pieces, but it's so forward given the relaxed silhouette.
A matching set makes getting dressed so simple. You just toss on the coordinating pieces and add a few accessories, and you're set. This skirt-and-top situation is quite elegant.
I'm basically living in looser button-down shirts this season, and I'm very much feeling this vibe with the white tee under the shirt and tucked into knee-length shorts with crew socks and retro sneakers.
Miniskirts are trending hard and look very of-the-moment with a half-buttoned blouse and ballet flats.
This monochromatic ensemble is effortless with the long-sleeve tee tucked into shorts. It's the accessories—floppy hat, shoulder bag, and flip-flops—that amp it up even more.
Wait, I'm all of a sudden feeling overalls again. This outfit is cool with the tube top and chunkier sandals. Yes and yes.
This is another strong outfit featuring a classic button-down shirt. It's streamlined with the white tee and jeans, and the clogs add a relevant spin to the look.
A striped shirt is easy and timeless and works perfectly with relaxed trousers and flat sandals.
