At 28 years of age, I can confidently say I know how to dress myself. I know which labels to seek out, the shapes that suit my figure, and the colours that will work with my existing wardrobe.
I'm also pregnant.
While I've loved the challenge of dressing for my new shape, in a few months' time I'll have an even better styling task. I'll be responsible for dressing a mini human. One who will grow out of everything I buy in approximately 8.4 seconds, and require at least four outfit changes per day. Needless to say, that is a lot of looks.
Filling baby's wardrobe has become my new favourite pastime—sourcing stylish pieces in durable fabrics that are easy to wash (and comfy to wear) is even more satisfying than discovering a pair of size 38 Gianvito Rossi pumps in a Net-a-Porter sale (really).
