Well, we have another royal wedding to look forward to, folks! It was just announced that Princess Beatrice, cousin of Princes Harry and William and sister of Princess Eugenie, got engaged to boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi (the director of a property development firm) earlier this month in Italy. The couple has been together for about a year, but the two are longtime friends. The wedding is to take place in 2020 with details to come.

In newly released photos of the couple (taken by Princess Eugenie herself), the happy couple shows off the bride-to-be's stunning ring, which was designed by Mozzi in collaboration with British jewelry designer Shaun Leane, who was a collaborator and friend of Alexander McQueen's. On Leane's Instagram, he calls it "a fusion of Victorian and Art Deco designs." And as is often the case with royal engagement rings, it's dripping with diamonds. While it's quite classic (also often the case with royal engagement rings), we're predicting that the long baguettes flanking the large round solitaire diamond lends an Art Deco vibe that could quickly spark a new trend. Hey, the more diamonds the better, right?

Scroll to see the ring up close via the well wishes from Beatrice's family on Instagram and to shop the trend.
