There's been a lot of discussion lately on plus-size women. From the term being sadly misused (as it was when the media mistakenly used it to describe size-10 model Myla Delbasio) to plus-size models, bloggers, and brands making a huge impact on pop culture, the phrase seems to be literally everywhere.
But invariably, every time we at Who What Wear share some news from within the plus-size community, we get a flood of comments from you, our dear readers, expressing a certain distaste for the term. The main argument seems to be that in an ideal world, there would be no distinction at all between so-called straight sizes (0-12) and so-called plus sizes (14+).
With all the discussion surrounding the term, we've decided to officially host an open forum so that our readers can share their honest thoughts and opinions on the matter.
So, what do you think of the term "plus-size"? Sound off in the comments below!
