The Elegant Color Every Celeb Will Be Wearing in 2024
The spring 2024 runway collections were stocked full of trends, from sophisticated takes on sheer to dramatically overstuffed handbags, but out of all of them, none made quite as impactful of a splash as oxblood (otherwise known as black cherry, merlot, or burgundy), the shade of red on every fashion person's lips (and in their closets) right now. Found at Hermès, Gucci, Valentino, Versace, Tom Ford, and then some, the elegant yet moody hue is no doubt campaigning to be the color of the year.
Helping out on the campaign trail are celebs, who've come out in droves to support the rise of oxblood, wearing it on red carpets, to fashion shows, and on the streets of cities like New York and London. And since the spring collections haven't even arrived in stores yet, I can only imagine that the best A-list burgundy looks are still to come. Scroll down to check out the chicest examples so far of celebs wearing 2024's color of the year.

If you're looking to slowly introduce this color into your wardrobe, this $25 rib-knit top is a great start.
Shop the matching Flared Velvet Pants ($160).
Anything and everything velvet right now has me in my feels.
Nope, I'm not done obsessing over mesh ballet flats. Not even close.
Anything Intimately is going to be the softest, comfiest item you've ever put on. FACT.
This skirt won't stay in stock for long. Nothing by Aya Muse ever does.
How cool is the fact that this cashmere crew-neck comes with a snood that transforms it instantly into a turtleneck? Genius.
I own this bag in the brown Fondant shade, but after seeing my co-worker Anna Laplaca buy the Barolo color, I might need to start saving up for another.
Skip jeans for once and opt for a pair of cords. I promise you'll feel as good as Lorelai Gilmore when it snows for the first time.
Gucci, why'd you have to go and make shoes so perfect? My bank account and I are begging you to stop.
