This Is The Only Shoe Style You'll Catch Me Wearing Besides Boots RN
As I've slowly transitioned my closet towards fall and winter, a lot of shoes are beginning to be neglected. The strappy sandals that I lived in every day this summer are now shoved beneath my bed along with several pairs of flat sandals. One item that has withstood the change in temps happens to be my sturdy pair of mules.
No matter how cold it's been, I've found myself leaning on this shoe style for many of the events I've attended so far this season. My legs look miles long when I wear them and they feel so chic. I'm vouching for them hard right now and, of course, looking for new ways to style them. Below, find 7 outfits that I plan to copy this season.
I've never seen a better use of a maxi leather skirt, and now I'm convinced that I need one. Any outfit comprised solely of wardrobe staples is right up my alley.

I've never seen a chicer way to pair a classic sweater with jeans. The sweetheart neckline is perfection and straight-leg jeans look amazing with mules.

A big smile hits my face when I realize something is cashmere.
Biker jackets are a move right now. The best way to make this sporty outerwear piece feel more elevated is to pair it with mules. I'm loving that these are denim.

Wearing pajama shorts outside of the house just got really exciting. I'm loving the way it's paired with a striped shirt and blazer in this look.
Shop the look:
If you're anything like me, you have a long list of holiday parties you're gearing up for. Something about wearing a black sweater dress with bedazzled accessories never fails.
Shop the look:
I'm officially convinced that investing in a cardigan set this year is the move. It's simply polished and great for layering as the weather fluctuates throughout the day. Finishing the look off with mules is a no-brainer.
Shop the look:
Getting dressed in the fall and winter is all about layering and Kat is my new role model. Wearing a turtleneck under a white button-down is such a vibe.

And I leave you with the most fabulous under-$200 pair of mules I ever did see.

Growing up with no choice but to wear a rotation of school uniforms and activewear, her love for fashion really blossomed when she moved away for college and was able to finally define her very own personal style. Shortly thereafter, she interned at Elle magazine and instantly knew that editorial was for her. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, she worked for ShopBazaar, contributing regularly to Bazaar.com, and finally made her way to Who What Wear, where she is an associate editor. When she’s not working, you can catch her always trying to catch a flight, trying the latest fitness craze in New York City, or exploring luxury vintage boutiques.
