Meghan Markle Wore a Beautifully Sheer Dress to Her BFF's Wedding in Rome

Meghan Markle has consistently proven that she's an extremely dedicated friend. Earlier this month, she flew to New York to support her pal Serena Williams in the U.S. Open final, and she recently included her designer friend Misha Nonoo in her new Smart Works capsule collection for charity. Now, Markle is supporting Nonoo in a different way by flying to Rome to attend her wedding. Of course, Prince Harry came along too—but no sign of baby Archie.

Nonoo is marrying entrepreneur Michael Hess at the 17th-century Villa Aurelia in Rome. Karlie Kloss, Katy Perry, and Orlando Bloom were all photographed at a pre-wedding dinner, so it's safe to say they'll be among the celebrity guests at the ceremony on Friday. For the glamorous event, Markle wore a beautifully sheer black dress and gold ear cuffs. Scroll down to see photos from Misha Nonoo's wedding in Rome.

Erin Fitzpatrick
Senior News Editor

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 12 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of senior news editor (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
