I've never been a huge handbag person, often preferring to instead indulge in fancy shoes, outerwear, and dresses (but mostly shoes). So when a bag does come around that really and truly catches my eye, it's kind of a big deal. Such was exactly the case when I first spotted Khaite's Olivia bag, a super-slouchy, circular handbag that comes in leather, suede, and, chicest of all, patent. Carried by celebs such as Elsa Hosk and Lily Aldridge, the purse is one of today's most-wanted, only making me want it more.
There's just one catch. With its awe-worthy aesthetic comes a hefty price tag—a $1600 one, specifically. And between holiday-gift shopping and my own Black Friday–induced spending, my 2022 budget is pretty much closed for business.
