I don’t know when it happened, but leather gloves suddenly went from “formal event accessory” to “the thing every fashion person is casually wearing to lunch.” Blame the runways, blame the street style stars, or blame the fact that we’ve collectively reached for anything that makes an outfit feel more intentional—but gloves are having an undeniable moment. And, of course, I have finally gotten on board.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been pulling images and inspo—on the hunt for the best ways to style them and I couldn’t help but notice a standout star in the gloves department. Elsa Hosk, has been finding the best gloves on the market and styling them better than anyone else I’ve seen and I’ve been taking thorough notes.
