In case you've been living under a digital rock for the past 24 hours, here's the scoop: Kim Kardashian stars in British GQ's October issue, posed totally nude lying across some undeniably sexy folds of satin sheets. The Internet has been freaking out about it all day—you can see more of the images here.
But here's the thing: This is not the first time Kardashian has posed naked—far from it, in fact. Kim has appeared nude in W, among other magazines, and she is no stranger to participating in fairly controversial shoots. There are five in particular that stand out in our minds.

Back in 2009, Kardashian posed with then-boyfriend, football player Reggie Bush, in a somewhat scandalous shoot that showed the couple in various states of undress.
Kardashian's first mainstream nude shoot debuted in the November 2010 issue of W magazine, for which she posed totally naked and covered in silver paint. After she saw images from the shoot, Kardashian was outraged, alleging that she was told "nothing would be seen."
Kardashian took everything off for her latest spread with British GQ, sending the Internet into a tizzy by exposing her curves.
Interestingly, the shoot that has perhaps been perceived as one of Kim's most controversial features her fully clothed. When she and husband Kanye West appeared on the cover of Vogue's April 2014 issue, fashion folks far and wide decreed the end of the magazine's authority, while other people seemed to love the issue.
