Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle Just Wore Winter's Biggest Jewelry Trend

As you may have noticed, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle often keep their jewelry classic and subdued, but when their schedules call for a glamorous night out, they get to have their pick of the royal family's vast jewelry collection. Tonight was certainly one of those occasions: Prince Charles's 70th-birthday party at Buckingham Palace. While photos of their full looks haven't emerged (and possibly never will), photographers did catch Markle and Middleton arriving at the palace via car, wearing winter's number one jewelry trend: chandelier earrings.

Oversize crystal earrings have been all over Instagram as of late, and retailers are stocking up on the statement-earring trend just in time for the holidays. The only difference with the dangling earrings the duchesses wore is that theirs are undoubtedly genuine diamonds (and our jaws are currently on the floor). Keep scrolling to see their earrings up close and to shop the non-genuine version of the trend for yourself.
