Kate Bosworth Just Wore the Trouser Trend That's All Over M&S, COS and H&M

There's something so refreshing about a celebrity outfit that is truly attainable. As much as we enjoy admiring one-of-a-kind made-to-measure looks and the breathtaking glamour we're anticipating on the first Monday in May thanks to the Met Gala, spotting a stylish celeb in a casual look that can be replicated on a budget is just as special in my eyes. Recently, Kate Bosworth did just that by stepping out in a pair of linen trousers—not only does this slouchy wide-leg style practically define the summer months, but it's also one that always looks just as good on the high street.

Every year, the warmer months roll around, and airy linen styles return to prominence for their versatility and wearability even during a heatwave. Be it a stroll through the park or a sweltering day in the office, the breathable fabric is the answer to keeping cool whilst retaining a put-together feel. Personally, I'm a big fan of Kate's styling here with a '90s denim corset top and billowing trouser silhouette, but there are so many ways to style these staple summer trousers, especially whilst we wait for the higher temperatures to arrive. You could add a blazer and kitten heels to elevate this trouser silhouette or pare things back completely with trainers and a tee. On holidays, you can throw a pair over a bikini as you wander to the beach or even take on a matching linen suit for summer weddings. Lucky for us, our favourite high-street brands M&S, COS and H&M understand the draw of linen for the warmer months, with all shapes, cuts and colours covered. They have been keeping the linen trouser supplies well-stocked over the past few weeks as our minds turn to the basics summers we can rely upon.
