As I pointed out last month, Senator Kamala Harris has been wearing her signature pearl necklaces for over 30 years, so obviously that won't stop now that she's officially the Democratic Vice Presidential nominee. However, while we're used to seeing her wear pearls with pantsuits for big speeches and debates, now her more casual campaign trail style is being watched more closely than ever.
Harris landed in California to tour fire-damaged areas near Fresno, host a roundtable discussion on the pandemic's impact on Latino families, deliver food to firefighters, and meet with supporters. For the busy day, Harris chose the most practical, cool, and relatable outfit: Timberland boots, skinny jeans, an army jacket, and a white tee. And yes, she also added her beloved pearl necklace.
