I'm Obsessed With Everything in This Collection at Fashion Week

Fashion Week Australia is here, and Hansen and Gretel was one of my most anticipated shows of the week—and it delivered everything I hoped it would. The label launched in 2009, and has been quietly evolving since, opening its first flagship store in Sydney's Paddington in 2014.

I recently went to the brand's A/W 17 press showings at the Adam Worling PR  showroom, and was blown away by its most recent collection. It felt elevated, and I can sense a feeling of maturity in the collection. Soft silk pieces, intermixed with structured tailoring, and interesting details—like a cowl neckline or flared sleeve.

The Resort 18 collection, which just made its way down the runway at Fashion Week Australia, was equally elevated. I could actually imagine wearing every piece on a summer holiday—which is what the Resort collections are all about. We saw a collection full of prints—floral, mixed with leopard print and gingham—and fluid shapes that are easy to move in. There's something in here for everyone.

The slight bell sleeves make this no ordinary white shirt.

A black trench coat will never go out of style.

Next big trend in slip dresses: A cowl neckline.

This is one of the label's most popular pieces.
