I've never been shy about my love of how French women dress. Yes, I know it's a cliché to want to know their secrets, but honestly, they really do just get it right. Over the many, many years I've spent on Instagram getting outfit inspiration, I can safely say that I return to the French influencers the most. While they do all have slightly differing styles, the one thing they have in common is that they're all chic. They never overdo it, and it's always carefully considered (even if it doesn't seem that way).
Recently, I asked three of my favourite French influencers to tell me what they were shopping right now: Lena Farl because she does the French Provençal look so well, Franny Fyne because she has such an eye for cool tailoring and vintage, and Aïda of Basics Touch because she does minimalism like no other French influencer. One of our favourite French influencers, Franny always manages to merge her love of vintage with newer pieces. Her eye for unique tailoring is unparalleled, but she still loves to go to iconic French fashion brands such as Isabel Marant for those standout wardrobe pieces.

If you're ever looking for someone with an eye for making pieces look expensive, then you need to shop with Aïda. The Instagrammer just knows how to find the affordable-but-luxe-looking items but will still invest in designer pieces when it matters.
