I Just Got Back From NYC, and Now I Want to Order These 7 Trends From Reformation

NYC is home to some of the most well-dressed people in the world, so every time I visit the city, people-watching is understandably one of my favorite activities. I just returned from a trip to the city, and on the flight to LaGuardia, I found myself scrolling through Reformation's new arrivals (another one of my favorite activities). And since its inventory was fresh on my mind throughout my 3-day trip (that's me above, wearing a pair of Reformation cropped pants in the West Village FYI), I found myself making a mental running list of things to add to my Ref cart after seeing the same trends over and over on cool New Yorkers.

Reformation's designers don't make their version of every trend—they make their versions of the best trends. And I say this every single season, but this season is really good. So post-NYC, my cart is filled with the prettiest shoe trend of the season, the basic that's better than a plain T-shirt, the buzziest print of the season, and much more. Keep scrolling to see which seven trends are in my Reformation cart post-NYC people-watching, and shop the exact pieces I have my eye on along with me.

Silky Skirts

The beauty of these skirts is that they can be dressed up or down in an instant, and they'll keep you nice and cool in the summer heat. In particular, lace-trimmed silky skirts were the style I saw the most.

Pretty White Pieces

Nothing says summer like pretty white pieces made of linen or poplin, and the chicest NYC residents are embracing wrinkly white clothing, whether head-to-toe or mixed with denim or the aforementioned silky skirts.

"Jewelry" Sandals

Someone's shoes are one of the first things I look at, and the trend I kept seeing on this trip was sandals adorned with jewelry-like embellishments. It's a simple detail that adds so much to an outfit.

Polo Shirts

Preppy polo shirts styled in unexpected ways was something I saw on repeat. I'll be swapping my plain crewneck tees for them on occasion as soon as I receive my Ref order.

Cropped Pants

It's not that long, baggy pants are dead, but cropped ones feel especially fresh for 2025, and they're far more appropriate for summer than baggy ones. I'm floored by how many chic cropped options Reformation currently has to choose from.

Modern Linen Dresses

A linen dress is not just a linen dress—there are many different types on the market, and the ones I kept seeing in NYC were modern and elegant as opposed to something you'd see on the beach.

Polka Dots

People really love polka dots right now, and this was exceedingly clear in NYC. I saw the classic print trend in the wild in every neighborhood I visited.
