As the year comes to a close, something starts to happen at the start of December: Everyone begins sharing their “Wrapped”—a look back at their most-listened-to music of the year. It got me thinking about my own version of a yearly roundup: the purchases I reached for again and again throughout 2025.
For clothes, I focused on the pieces that became true staples: the Geel Brynn Skirt, Swedish Stockings tights, Vagabond boots, Camper flats, Cou Cou Intimates pointelle basics, and my rotation of cashmere sweaters. With beauty, the standouts were just as clear—from Chanel Les Beiges foundation to Rōz’s serum and oil.
I added a handful of new home favorites this year too: a Parachute pillow I now swear by, a twin-size blanket I keep on my Sundays Company Movie Night Sofa, and bedding from Studio Sutram.
Below, 31 of the products I tried and truly loved since last January.
Clothing
The L.A. brand Geel has been one of my favorite brands to shop this year.
swedish stockings
Franka Check Tights
Argyle made an unexpected comeback in the fashion world this year, and I couldn’t stop wearing it in the form of these Swedish Stockings—my new favorite tights brand.
Vagabond
Blanca Tall Boots
These sleek knee-high boots make any outfit feel more put together while still staying comfortable thanks to the low heel.
BASERANGE
Pama 3/4 Tee Shirt
This Pama 3/4 Tee from Baserange feels like a more interesting take on the classic cotton T-shirt.
Cou Cou Intimates
The Midi Slip Dress
Over the summer, The Midi Slip Dress from Cou Cou Intimates was one of my most-worn items…
Cou Cou Intimates
The Iris Slip
…as well as this effortless cotton voile slip.
I never would’ve guessed a pair of black flats could get me so many compliments, but this incredibly comfortable Camper pair did.
Charlie Beads
The 90s Bias Skirt White
I can't wait for warmer days to come back so I can wear the 90s Bias Skirt White from Charlie Beads, and I'm excited to buy more of its pieces.
belkys studio
Genevieve Skirt
This asymmetrical midi skirt from Belkys has topstitching details that make it feel special.
Los Angeles Apparel
Jelly Flats
An odd fact is that I was the second-ever customer at the new Los Angeles Apparel in Soho. I ran in to buy these Jelly Flats before a beach trip to Jamaica, and they turned out to be the perfect choice. I even kept wearing them into the fall with tights.
Anyone who knows me knows I don't wear jeans, but this is the pair that's going to change that.
For a moment, I was afraid I'd never wear anything but my J.Crew Rollneck again. There was a four-day stretch where I literally couldn’t take it off. I can think of at least four editors who own it too—we were once on a call where three of us showed up wearing the same sweater. And now I just saw it’s available to monogram as well.
Falconeri
Ultrasoft Cashmere Crewneck Sweater with Set-in Sleeves
Cashmere sweaters help get me through the winters in New York, and I've been loving this one Falconeri.
Aritzia
Essential Cashmere Relaxed Boatneck Sweater
I received this Essential Cashmere Relaxed Boatneck Sweater as a gift, and I love its flattering boatneck silhouette—I’m eyeing it in black, too.
Beauty
Erewhon
Antibacterial Hand Sanitizer Spray
Would you believe I went to two different Erewhons to find this the last time I was in L.A.? My best friend put me on to it, and I was determined to get a bottle for myself—she always grabs a few whenever she’s there for work. I know it sounds ridiculous (the people I was with kept asking, “Why do you want this hand sanitizer so badly?”), but I’m extremely picky about what I put on my hands. I can’t stand anything that feels sticky. I love how it smells, with notes of eucalyptus, clove, and cinnamon.
CHANEL
Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation Hydration and Longwear
While I hadn’t owned a true foundation in years—being a devoted skin-tint person—I finally found one I can’t stop wearing: the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation Hydration and Longwear. It passes the “I can’t even feel I’m wearing it” test, and it’s noncomedogenic.
CHANEL
Le Crayon Lèvres Longwear Lip Pencil in 162 Nude Brun
If you’ve been following the Nina Park lip-combo discourse on TikTok, this is the lip liner people are saying she uses on her celebrity clients.
Charlotte Tilbury
Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Pillow Talk Medium
We all know and love it for a reason. One beauty product I always keep in my makeup bag is the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk Medium.
Wonderskin
Wonder Blading All Day Lip Stain Peel Off Masque
If you want a lip product that truly lasts for hours, go for the Wonderskin lip stain.
Honestly, I put off trying Rōz products for a long time because of the price point. Having finally tried them this year, I vouch for them hand to heart. My hair gets weighed down by products super easily, and none of the brand's have ever done that. I’ll keep purchasing the Milk Hair Serum…
ROZ
Santa Lucia Styling Oil
…and this lightweight Santa Lucia Styling Oil, which also doubles as a heat protectant, is incredible.
Westman Atelier
Face Trace Cream Contour Stick in Biscuit
It was my first time using Westman Atelier this year, starting with the Face Trace Cream Contour Stick in Biscuit, which I’ve been loyal to ever since.
D.S. & Durga
Amber Kiso Eau de Parfume
This D.S. & Durga Amber Kiso perfume for fall/winter.
Home
Parachute
Down Pillow in Medium Density
I’ve tried many pillows in my life—I’m quite particular about them. A friend of mine shares the same affliction; she even said she wishes she could be matched with her perfect pillow. (I agree.) After plenty of trial and error, my search is over: the Down Pillow from Parachute in the medium density.
Parachute
Vintage Linen Bed Blanket
I also got this bed cover from Parachute, which adds a nice layer of texture to my bed.
Sundays Company
Movie Night 3-Piece Modular Sofa
My beloved Sundays Company Movie Night Sofa, which I did a full review on in November.
Quince
Silk Pick Stitch Quilt Set in Ivory
Another thing I’m finicky about is having a blanket that fully covers me when I'm watching TV on the above couch. I want to feel completely enveloped—I need my feet covered at all times. I’m thrilled to share that I got a twin-size quilt, and it makes the perfect couch throw.
Studio Sutram
Duvet Cover in Prism
Studio Sutram is a Sydney-based cotton bedwear company, which I got my bedding from.
Dedcool
Room + Linen Spray Xtra Milk
I’ve put a few scent-snob friends on to this Xtra Milk room spray, and it has our unanimous seal of approval: the perfect cozy, warm fragrance to spritz around the house.
Associate features editor Ana Escalante put me on to The Brick. You can set a custom schedule to block certain apps on your phone. Especially with my work having me on the computer a lot (and what I like to think of as researching on TikTok), I love being off my phone.
