I Like Keeping Things Simple and Elegant—29 Nordstrom Finds I'm Adding to My Closet for Fall

My wardrobe and the way I dress are relatively consistent year after year. Overall, I focus on investing in pieces that I will have in my closet long-term that fit into my style. I tend to opt for pieces that are elegant yet simple and stand the test of time. This fall, I’ll be staying true to that, but have a list of some key items I plan to add to my wardrobe—whether it’s filling in some gaps of pieces that are missing or replacing worn-out staples.
Ahead, I’m breaking down the items I’m eyeing for fall. It includes my go-to workhorse favorites such as straight-leg jeans, sleek pointed-toe ankle boots, trench coats, and my favorite baseball cap in a shade of forest green. I’m also gravitating toward midi dresses designed in lightweight knits or satin and lace. To make it a one-stop shopping experience, I made an edit from Nordstrom so you can add all of the pieces to one shopping cart.
